Vipre AntiVirus - Review

Viruses! They play a major role on the internet today and have such an effect on computer users all around the world. If you have access to the internet, you have access to viruses. Thought, through smart browsing you can familiarize yourself with websites that you trust, there is still a chance of contracting the computer flu! Today I want to talk to you about an Antivirus program that we at PC Doctor both suggest and use with our clients, Vipre AntiVirus. Vipre is a relatively new, and incredibly effective antivirus software that aims at keeping your Computer clean and protected from malicious programs and viruses, as well as ensuring that the resources on your computer aren't consumed by its operation. 

I am a big Fan of AVG, and I think they are great but what we've found, especially in the last couple months, is that there are a string of viruses, namely the xp defender viruses, that are able to bypass AVG completely. That doesn't mean AVG is slacking, that just means the virus makers are becoming more effective. Having installed and used Vipre on many of our clients machines, to include Star Gern Davison and Ruben, Attorney's at Law, we have noticed both Vipre's inherent ability to seek out and find bad software, as well as its "stealth" in running in the background without slowing your machine down!
